DE SCHATKAMER VAN MARTIJN AKKERMAN

Martijn Akkerman, jewelry historian and appraiser, is now the second guest curator for the exhibition "The Treasury of …" taking place at Museum de Zwarte Tulp in Lisse.

Together with presenter Frits Sissing, he opened the exhibition. From various art collections, Martijn Akkerman has selected, among others, the "Black Tulip" necklace by jewelry designer and goldsmith Truike Verdegaal. This piece, along with other art objects—including an 1800s floral painting and two tulip vases—comes from the collection of De Witte Zwaan. The exhibition is an initiative of Frank Schermer Voest.
