Gallé walnut jardinière
Description
The jardinière, or planter, in the De Witte Zwaan collection is made of walnut and has a zinc inner trough. It stands on four tall legs, which taper slightly towards the bottom. The four legs are connected by a double brace. The jardinière in the De Witte Zwaan collection is decorated with high-quality inlay featuring various tulips and birds in the Art Nouveau style. The jardinière is signed on the front: Émile Gallé Nancy.
