South Holland earthenware bracket vase with tulip decoration
Description
Both the body and the spout of the vase in the De Witte Zwaan collection are painted with colorful tulips. The flowers are elegantly painted, both from the side and from above on the body of the vase, as if looking into the calyx towards the pistils. There are also some ascending leaves and stems against a black background.
